Union High School

We are excited to celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 30, 2026! Students are welcome to wear costumes to school to show their spirit and creativity. While we want everyone to have a fun day, safety and learning remain our top priorities.
Because we are a high school environment, all costumes must adhere to the following guidelines throughout the day:

Full-face masks, full head covers, and heavy face paint that completely obscures identity are prohibited. Faculty and administration must be able to identify every student on campus at all times.

Toy guns, fake swords, knives, scythes, or any weapon-like props are banned on school grounds, regardless of material or color.

Costumes must conform to regular school dress code standards. Outfits referencing drugs, alcohol, violence, or vulgarity are not permitted.

Costumes must be practical for a standard school day. Students must be able to sit comfortably in desks, navigate stairs safely, and participate in scheduled classes (including labs and PE).

Students whose costumes do not meet these safety standards will be asked to change into regular clothes or call home for a change of attire.

Union High School will be holding a Lockdown and Reunification drill today, Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The drill will happen before lunchtime. During the drill, student checkouts will be limited.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Hello Team UC families,
We had people cleaning our dust collector in the shop, and it set off our fire alarm. So, a false fire alarm, and we got school back to normal quickly.
Thank you

Bell Photography retakes: Friday the 25th. This will be your last chance to get school pictures.
