Out of an abundance of caution the UHS administration put the school secure mode for 3 minutes while law enforcement contained a potential situation outside of the school. No weapons were involved and nobody was harmed in this event. Classes at the high school have resumed as normal.

Attention Union High School Community:
We want to inform everyone that a potential threat at Union High School has been contained. Law enforcement and school officials have responded swiftly, and the situation is under control.
All students and staff are safe.
There is no threat anymore at all!
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to the safety of our community.
Thank you,
UHS Administration.

Coach Hanke has worked hard to create a system that better utilizes UHS locker rooms. The use of hanging locks gives students and athletes more access to lockers throughout the different sports seasons. Better access to our facilities has resulted in a better experience for our students and athletes.
