Along with the rest of the state, schools in Duchesne County will have a new cell phone policy starting in August of 2025. It will basically be the same as RJHS and the elementary schools have been operating. Here are a few details. More will follow later in the summer.




If you're interested in one of UBTech's cohort programs, be sure to enroll by the deadline. Cohort programs include:
-Pharmacy Technician (July 31 application deadline)
-Practical Nursing (May 31 application deadline)
-Surgical Technician (No application required. Only 8 spots available)
-Medical Assistant (No application required)

Duchesne High School will be offering Summer School for any students in need of Credit Recovery for failed classes. Any students needing to sign up for summer school, please meet in the high school library on Tuesday May 27th at 11:00. If you can not come at that time, please contact Principal Daron Gatherum .There will be a staff member at the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-12:00 for the month of June for assiatance and testing. Have a great summer!

Summer school is only available for those students in need of Credit Recovery. Initial credit courses will not be offered through the summer school program. Utah SUN Bucks is a grocery benefits program to help families buy food during the summer when schools are closed. Families can get $120 for each eligible school-age child.

Due to some unexpected events, the School Community Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday April 17th is cancelled. It will be rescheduled for a later date

A preregistration meeting for juniors regarding the 2025–2026 school year (senior year) is scheduled for Thursday, April 17, at 8:05 AM in the DHS Auditorium. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. Attendance is expected for all juniors.
