Seniors,
Our FAFSA night is quickly approaching on Feb 26th from 6-8pm. I have attached a few documents to help you and your parents prepare for the event. A few items to take note of:
1. Students and parents need to create their FSA-ID at least 3 days before completing the FAFSA. Your FSA-ID is used to pull tax information and as your electronic signature. If your parents have already created an FSA-ID for either themselves or another dependent, they will not need to create another one.
2. It is best if the student and parent/guardian are both present when completing the FAFSA. See the "checklist to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA" for a list of information needed.
3. Please review the attached documents and bring the required information for a quick and easy application process.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Juniors,
We will be participating in Utah Higher Ed Days (UHED) on March 7th at Union High School. The bus will leave at 11:50am and will be back by the end of the school day. This is a great opportunity to explore college options.

Today's Resilience Theme is "Kindness is Contagious." We would like to thank Miss UBIC, Zoey Barney, for participating during lunch while promoting her platform "Stand up, Speak out!" Students were also able to "Stomp out Bullying."
We would also like to thank Samoana Matagi (the no-handed bandit) for his inspiring messages during our assembly.

AHS Juniors,
TriCounty Health offers a Students Working Against Tobacco Scholarship (SWAT). This is a great opportunity to secure some money for post-high education while also gaining leadership skills in advocating for tobacco free youth. In order to get the scholarship, you are chosen to be on the SWAT team as a leader and help TriCounty Health organize lunchtime activities at AHS.
The deadline is on April 19th and the scholarship is worth ATLEAST $1,000.

Parent-Teacher conference will be held on February 21, 2024 from 3:00-6:00 pm.
